6. SINIF ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN HAVA FOTOĞRAFLARINI YORUMLAMALARI

Abstract

Hava fotoğrafları günümüzdeki teknolojik gelişmelere paralel olarak eğitim-öğretim materyali olarak kullanılmaya başlanmıştır. Bu tür materyaller öğrencilere kuşbakışı perspektif kazanmalarına yardım etmesi sebebiyle önemlidir. Bu çalışmada ilköğretim 6. sınıf öğrencilerinin hava fotoğraflarını yorumlayabilme becerileri üzerinde odaklanılmış ve öğrencilerin hava fotoğraflarından faydalanma şekilleri incelenmiştir. Çalışma nitel araştırma teknikleri kullanılarak ve 10 öğrenci ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Öğrencilerin aşina oldukları çevrelere ait hava fotoğrafları kullanılmıştır. Hava fotoğraflarının ilköğretimde kullanılmasına ilişkin önemli bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Bulgular, coğrafya ve sosyal bilgiler eğitiminde mekânsal biliş becerilerinin öğretimine ışık tutacaktır.

6 th Grades Student’s interpreting of Aerial Photographs

Abstract

Aerial photographs have started to be used as a teaching-training material parallel to the technological developments of our time. These materials are important to help students gain aerial perspective as a means to improve spatial cognition. In this study the skill of 6th grade students on interpreting aerial photographs have been focused on and examined how the students benefit from it. This study has been carried out with qualitative research techniques and 10 students have been used throughout the study. Aerial photographs of the places which students are familiar with have been utilized. Important outcomes were obtained on the use of aerial photographs in primary education. Findings can be guided for geography and social studies education in point of teaching spatial cognition skills
