The Effect Of React Strategy In Teaching Of “Excretory System” Subject
Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of REACT strategy on the students’
achievements, inquiry learning skills perceptions and motivations towards biology learning.
The data collection tools were excretory system achievement test, scale of inquiry learning
skills perception and motivation scale towards biology learning. The sample included in totally
58 10th graders from a secondary school in center of Kars. According the findings from study,
it was seen that achievements of the students in experimental groups increased in statistically
significant level. In addition, students’ inquiry learning skills perceptions was not founded
statistically significant. However, it was founded that there was a notable decrease in scores of
control group in terms of motivation towards biology learning.
