İlköğretim Okullarında Görev Yapmakta Olan Öğretmenlerin Üstün Yetenek Kavramı Hakkındaki Görüşleri
Abstract
Bu çalışmanın amacı, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapmakta olan öğretmenlerin üstün yetenek kavramı hakkındaki görüşlerini belirlemektir. Çalışmaya, ilköğretim okullarında görev yapmakta olan toplam 155 öğretmen katılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin görüşleri açık uçlu anket görüşmesi yapılarak toplanmış ve alanın önde gelen bazı kuramlarıyla karşılaştırmalı olarak yorumlanmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışmanın bulguları, ilköğretim öğretmenlerinin üstün yetenek kavramı ve üstün yetenekli öğrenciler hakkında yeterli bilgiye sahip olmadıklarına ve üstün yetenekli öğrencileri fark etme ve onları ilgili programlara aday gösterebilme konularında yeterli başarıyı sağlayamayabileceklerine işaret etmektedir.
