Abstract

In this study, theoretical principles and mechanisms of Analytic Hierarchy Process, developed and brought in the literature by Thomas L. Saaty in 1977, has been examined, and after that an assessment and implementation of freshmen’s privileged factors in selecting Primary Math Teaching Department of Gazi University, Gazi Faculty of Education have been handled through AHP method that is one of the multiple decision making criteria.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Thomas L. Saaty tarafından 1977 yılında geliştirilen ve literatüre kazandırılan Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi AHP ’nin kuramsal temelleri ve işleyişi incelenmiş ve Gazi Üniversitesi Gazi Eğitim Fakültesi İlköğretim Matematik Öğretmenliği Programı birinci sınıf öğrencilerinin bu programı seçmelerinde etkili olan öncelikli faktörlerinin çok kriterli karar verme yöntemlerinden biri olan AHP yöntemiyle değerlendirilmesi ve bir uygulaması ele alınmıştır.
