When we look at the History of Islamic Education, it is noticed that the main purpose of religious education is to gain the consent of Allah and the afterlife, but whether the education given with the hope of gaining the consent of Allah will please the child or young person and whether the education method is in accordance with the consent of the student is an issue that is not given much thought. was considered as. With these thoughts, the writer Erpay, who stated that religious educators may exhibit unethical behaviors and attitudes for the sake of Allah, based his work titled Religious Education and Ethics on this problem.
