JEBPIR ARTICLE EVALUATION PROCESS

Articles sent through JEPBIR communication channels will not be included in the evaluation. Articles submitted to JEBPIR via Dergipark will be included in the evaluation process. The names of the authors of the included manuscripts and the reviewers evaluating the manuscripts will be kept confidential by both parties. Authors submitting articles;

-submit three referee proposals from different universities with at least two professorial titles through the system.

The articles will be subject to thematic and formal review by the field editors. In addition, if the article to be published involves field research, the ethics committee report is mandatory and the documents are also reviewed.

Manuscripts submitted to the journal and deemed worthy of refereeing by the Editorial Board are evaluated by at least two referees (blind referees) in the Referee Board. At this stage, the names of the authors are not disclosed to the referees and the names of the referees are not disclosed to the authors. The number of referees may be increased by the Editor and the Editorial Board if necessary. The referees will evaluate the manuscripts in terms of the scientific contribution, the way in which the study problem is addressed, the extent to which the relevant literature has been used, the compliance with the order of preparation of the scientific article, the methods and results of the field research (if any), and other elements that they consider important, and will provide their written opinions to the Editorial Board.

* An article rejected by one reviewer will be sent to a third reviewer.

* Articles rejected by two reviewers at the same time will be rejected. The rejection decision must be appealed within 30 days. As a result of the appeal, the reasons will be reviewed by the Editor. If deemed necessary, the refereeing process may be restarted.

The Editorial Board sends a copy of the reviewers' opinions to the author(s). When the author(s) have completed the corrections requested by the referees within the time limit deemed appropriate by the Editorial Board, the manuscript is resubmitted to the referees. The final assessment of all manuscripts that have reached the publishable stage for the reviewers will be made by the Editorial Board. Once a decision on publishability has been made, the manuscript is placed in the publication queue and the author(s) are notified of the final stage. Once the author(s) have been notified that their manuscript has been placed in the publication queue, they must complete the copyright form and submit it to the Journal Editorial Office. Failure to do so will result in the article not being published.
