Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to analyze the factors that affect the financial dependence of businesses. For this purpose, the factors affecting the bank dependency of the enterprises have been analyzed with the balanced panel data regression method by taking into consideration the 4 rates obtained from the annual financial data of 78 firms traded in the BIST 100 index between 2010-2019. According to the findings obtained with one-way (time) random effects model, one of the panel data regression methods; It has been observed that the variables of Short-Term Bank Loans / Short-Term Foreign Sources (KVBK), Bank Loans / Total Assets (BTA) and Bank Loans / Equity (BOZ) and Borrowing Rate (BO) have given statistically significant results in explaining the factors affecting bank dependency of enterprises.

Year 2021, , 337 - 354, 30.09.2021
https://doi.org/10.53306/klujfeas.975846

Abstract

Bu çalışmada işletmelerin finansal açıdan banka bağımlılığını etkileyen faktörlerin analiz edilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaçla 2010-2019 yılları arasında BIST 100 endeksinde işlem gören 78 işletmenin yıllık finansal verilerden elde edilen 4 oran dikkate alınarak, işletmelerin banka bağımlılığını etkileyen faktörler dengeli panel veri regresyon yöntemi ile analiz edilmiştir. Panel veri regresyon yöntemlerinden tek yönlü (yatay kesit) sabit etkiler modeli ile elde edilen bulgulara göre; Kısa Vadeli Banka Kredisi/ Kısa Vadeli Yabancı Kaynak, Banka Kredisi/ Toplam Aktifler (BTA) değişkenleri işletmelerin banka bağımlılığını etkileyen faktörleri açıklamada istatistiksel olarak anlamlı sonuçlar verdiği gözlenirken Borçlanma Oranı değişkeni anlamlı bulunamamıştır.
