Abstract

Amaç: Çalışmamızın amacı germe tipi kuvvetlerin kemik dokusu gelişim sürecine etkisini araştırmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Diş Hekimliği Fakültesine mandibular şekil bozukluğu şikayetiyle başvuran hastalara diş-kemik destekli intraoral bir distraktör kullanılmak suretiyle uygulanan germe tipte kuvvetlerle yapılan tedavi sonucu elde edilen biopsi materyalleri %10 nötral formalinde fikse edildikten sonra %10’luk nitrik asitle dekalsifiye edildi, rutin doku takibi yapılıp parafine gömüldü ve Hematoksilen – Eosin ve Mallory-Anilin Blue kollajen boyaları ile boyandı ve ışık mikroskobunda incelendi. Bulgular: Histolojik değerlendirmede germe tipi kuvvet uygulanan kemik dokusunda normal kemik dokusuna göre lameller yapının tam oluşmamış olduğu, osteoblast ve osteosit sayısının daha fazla olduğu, osteoid yapının daha zayıf olduğu tespit edildi. Sonuç: Elde edilen histolojik bulgular germe tipi kuvvet uygulanan kemik dokusunda intramembranöz tipte kemikleşme olduğunu ortaya koymuştur
