Peer Review Process (Double-Blind Peer Review)
The articles sent to the journal are sent to the external referees after they pass the editorial pre-control evaluations (internal review process) such as compliance with journal writing rules, spelling-writing errors, statistics and language evaluation, and plagiarism screening. Articles pass the "Double-Blind Referee Review". Each article is sent to 2 referees, if both referees agree, the article is accepted for publication. If both referees give refusal to the article, the article is rejected. If one of the referees accepts an objection, the article is sent to a referee and accepted or rejected according to his decision. Within the double-blind strategy, the identity of the peer reviewer is concealed from the author submitting publications to the journal. Similarly, the peer reviewers do not know who wrote the article they are reviewing. In other words, the peer review process is conducted by keeping both authors and peer reviewers anonymous to each other. The reports are also stored in the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM DergiPark service system. It is aimed that all these processes should not exceed 3 months (to be completed within 1 month as much as possible). Therefore, the quick return of the relevant author after the revision is important.
Publication process
• All processes such as the classification, pre-examination, sending to the referee, and publication of the studies submitted to the journal by the relevant committees, from the acceptance process to the publication process of the journal, and archiving in the digital environment are done through the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM DergiPark service system.
• Studies submitted to the journal are first evaluated by the journal's secretariat and the editor. At this stage, those who do not comply with the publication and writing rules of the journal and the purpose and scope of the journal; Studies that are weak in terms of language and expression rules, contain scientifically critical errors, have no original value, and do not meet the publication policies are returned to the author without being included in the process. In this regard, all authority regarding whether the work will be included in the process and whether it meets the necessary conditions belongs to the editor. Opinions are also sought from the members of the Editorial Board on this matter, when necessary. Studies found to be suitable for the content and writing rules of the journal are included in the process for evaluation.
• A “similarity/plagiarism screening report” is requested for studies submitted to the journal and an “Ethics Committee Approval Certificate” is requested if the study requires the decision of the Ethics Committee. A copyright Transfer Form is also requested from the authors.
• In the evaluation process of the studies submitted for publication in the journal, the double-blind method is used, in which the identities of the author and the referee are hidden. In this direction, at least two referee opinions are essential for the evaluation of a study. For the acceptance of the study, the majority of the referees must give a positive opinion on the evaluation, but the final opinion belongs to the editor for the publication of the relevant study in the journal.
• The time given to the referees for the referee evaluation process is one month. The correction suggestions from the referees or editors are requested by the authors to be completed within one month in line with the "correction report". These periods can be extended by the editor when necessary. The referees can decide on the suitability of a study by examining the corrections, as well as request corrections more than once if necessary, or reject the studies whose correction suggestions are not fulfilled.
• The author(s) of the studies that are ready for publication after the acceptance stage are deemed to have read and accepted the publication rights transfer agreement uploaded to the TÜBİTAK ULAKBİM DergiPark system in line with the publication rights transfer statement.
• Articles in the journal are published on the basis of acceptance dates.
• Studies accepted for publication in the journal and approved by the relevant committees for publication are listed according to their acceptance dates, given a DOI (Digital Object Identifier) number, and published in the relevant issue.
