Abstract

Recently, Japan pioneered the implementation of the Society 5.0 paradigm, aiming to create a people oriented society by integrating Industry 4.0 technologies like artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things. This model seeks to enhance socio-economic development through technological innovation. A SWOT analysis of Society 5.0 highlights several strengths: enabling businesses to make strategic decisions, saving time through automation, contributing to sustainability, and driving innovation. However, challenges include high initial costs, data privacy concerns, a shortage of skilled labor, and difficulties with cultural adaptation during the transition to artificial intelligence-based systems. Opportunities arise in exploring new markets, improving customer relationships, creating smart cities, and advancing education and healthcare. However, potential threats include job losses, regulatory barriers, cybersecurity risks, and obstacles in R&D.

Toplum 5.0’ın Sosyo-Ekonomik Gelişmedeki Rolü’nün SWOT Analizi İle Değerlendirilmesi

Abstract

Japonya'nın öncülük ettiği Toplum 5.0 paradigması ile Endüstri 4.0'ın yapay zekâ, nesnelerin interneti ve diğer benzer teknolojilerinin toplumsal hayata entegre edilerek insan odaklı sosyo-ekonomik gelişmenin sağlanması amaçlanmaktadır. Toplum 5.0’ın sosyo-ekonomik gelişmedeki rolü SWOT analizi ile değerlendirildiğinde; işletmelerin daha verimli ve stratejik kararlar alabilmesi, rutin işlerin otomasyonu sayesinde zaman tasarrufu sağlanması, sürdürülebilir uygulamalara ve yenilikçi çözümlere katkıda bulunması ve inovasyon odaklı üretimin gerçekleştirilebilmesi vurgulanabilecek güçlü yönler olurken, yüksek başlangıç maliyetleri, veri gizliliği ve etiğine ilişkin endişeler, vasıflı işgücü bulmadaki zorluklar ve yapay zeka odaklı sistemlere geçiş sırasında kültürel uyum zorluğu zayıf yönler olmuştur. Yeni pazarlar keşfetmek, müşteri ilişkilerini geliştirmek, akıllı ve sürdürülebilir şehirler oluşturmak, eğitim ve sağlık sektörlerini iyileştirmek, yeniliği teşvik etmek, üretkenliği artırmak ve makineler ile insanlar arasında güvenli iş birlikleri oluşturmak Toplum 5.0’ın sunduğu fırsatlar arasında yer alırken, olası iş kayıpları, yıkıcı rekabet, düzenleyici yasal engeller, siber güvenlik riskleri ve Ar-Ge faaliyetlerindeki zorluklar ise potansiyel tehditleri oluşturmaktadır.
