Abstract

Arteriovenous fistula (AVF) is an abnormal relationship between the artery and vein which capillary bed isn’t being and may be congenital or acquired. Congenital AVF’s can be viewed on all organs or tissues. However forearm and hand involvement is very rare. Color doppler sonography that easy and quick performed is the preferred method as a non-invasive examination in the evaluation of the limbs vascular malformations. But angiography is gold standard technique at determine of fistula localization, extension and feeding artery. In addition, it is necessary that planning the surgery and endovascular embolization treatment and evaluated treatment effectiveness. In this case report, we aimed to findings of color doppler sonography and angiography at the 42 years old men with right hand and fore arm congenital AVF

Abstract

Arteriyovenöz fistül (AVF) arter ile ven arasında kapiller yatağın olmadığı anormal ilişkidir ve konjenital veya edinsel olabilir. Konjenital AVF’ ler hemen her organ veya dokuda izlenmekle birlikte ön kol ve el tutulumu oldukça nadirdir. Ekstremitelerin vasküler malformasyonlarının değerlendirilmesinde kolay ve hızlı yapılan renkli doppler US noninvaziv tetkik olarak tercih edilen yöntemdir. Ancak anjiyografi fistül lokalizasyonu, yaygınlığı, besleyici arterleri tespit etmede altın standart tetkiktir. Ayrıca cerrahi tedavi veya endovasküler yolla embolizasyon tedavisi için planlama yapmada ve tedavi etkilerini değerlendirmede de gereklidir. Bu olgu sunumunda sağ ön kol ve elde konjenital AVF’ si olan 42 yaşındaki erkek hastanın renkli doppler ultrasonografi ve anjiyografi bulguları ile sunumu amaçlandı
