Tiroid İnce İğne Aspirasyon Biyopsilerinin Histopatolojik Sonuçlarının Retrospektif Olarak Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Tiroid ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi (TİİAB) sonuçları ile opere edilen olguların patoloji rapor sonuçları karşılaştırılarak, tiroid lezyonlarının etkinliğinin saptanmasıdır. Yöntem: Kliniğimizde 347 olgunun ultrasonografi eşliğinde ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi yapıldı. Sitolojik tanılar benign, folliküler neoplazm, malignite pozitif ve yetersiz materyal olarak sınıflandırıldı. Bulgular: Hastaların 35'i (%20.6) erkek olup, yaşları 20-74 arasında, ortalama 45.0±6.2; 135'i (%79.4) kadın olup, yaşları 15-85 arasında, ortalama 36.6±7.1 idi. Sitolojik değerlendirme sonucu 347 nodül (%84.1) benign, 35 nodül (%3.8) şüpheli malign, 21 nodül (%2.3) malign, 92’si (%9.9) ise yetersiz materyal olarak rapor edildi. Rezeksiyon sonuçları incelendiğinde, İİA’ nın benign tanısındaki başarısı (sensitivitesi) %75.9, foliküller neoplazi tanısındaki başarısı %31.3, malign tanısında başarısı %14.3 olarak saptanmuştır. Sonuç: İnce iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi etkin ve güvenilir bir tanı yöntemidir. Doğru nodülden örnek alınmasında ultrasonografi önemli bir yardımcıdır. Utrasonografi eşlikli ince iğne aspirasyon biyopsisi tiroid nodüllerinin tanısında altın standart yöntemdir
