Choristomas are rare lesions that typically involve peripheral nerves and are marked by the presence of histologically normal tissue for an organ or body part other than the site at which it is located. The lesion was bound firmly to the involved nerves and consisted histologically and ultrastructurally of bundles of well-differentiated smooths muscle cells intermingled with striated muscle fibers and unmyelinated nerve fibers. We report a case of a torachal nerve choristoma arising in a five-yearold male
