Abstract

Birçok psikiyatrik bozukluğun hipotiroidi ile ilişkisi ortaya konmuştur. Erişkin hastalarda hipotiroidizme bağlı psikotik belirtiler sıklıkla miksödem ile ilişkilidir. Konjenital hipotiroidiye bağlı psikiyatrik bozukluk nadiren bildirilmiştir. Polikliniğimize başvuran 26 yaşında konjenital hipotiroidisi olan doğumdan beri medikal tedavi alan ancak hormon tedavisinin kesilmesini takiben psikotik belirtiler sergileyen ve hormon düzeylerinin normale çekilmesi ile psikotik belirtileri kaybolan konjenital hipotirodili olgu sunulmuştur
