Abstract
ellikle hastane infeksiyonlarý arasýnda önemli bir yeri olan cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarý, hastane infeksiyon kontrol önlemlerine raðmen hastalarýn daha fazla antibiyotik almasýna, tedavi maliyetlerinin ve hastalarýn hastanede kalma sürelerinin artmasýna neden olmaktadýr. Cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarýný bilmek ve tedavi etmek kadar, cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarýndan korunmak için gerekli tedbirleri almak ve uygulamak da önemlidir.
