İŞ-AİLE ÇATIŞMASINI YÖNETME ÖZ-YETERLİĞİ ÖLÇEĞİ: TÜRK ÖRNEKLEMİ İÇİN PSİKOMETRİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Year 2016, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 79 - 92, 20.02.2016

Abstract

The Self-efficacy for Work–Family Conflict Management Scale (SE-WFC): Examination of psychometric properties for The Turkish Sample

Year 2016, Volume: 6 Issue: 1, 79 - 92, 20.02.2016

Abstract

The Self-efficacy for Work–Family Conflict Management Scale (SE-WFC) was developed by Cinamon (2003) in Israel to determine the ability of individuals to manage conflict between work and family roles. Hennessy & Lent (2008) was adapted the scale into English language. The present study examined the reliability and the factor structure of SE-WFC. The sample of research was consisted of 224 women working in the public and private sectors. To examine the factor structure of the SE-WFC the model of Cinamon (2003) and the model of Hennessy & Lent (2008) were compared using the confirmatory factor analysis of two competing models. The result of the analysis indicated that the model of Hennessy & Lent (2008) was the most appropriate model for Turkish sample. Reliability of the scale was evaluated with Cronbach’s alpha internal consistency (α), and composite reliability coefficients (CRC).
