Hayekçi Siyasal İktisat ve Müzakereci Demokrasinin Sınırları

Öz

Sosyal demokrat solun liberalizme yönelttiği eleştirilerin başında, liberalizmin bireyleri birbirinden izole “atomlar” olarak görmek suretiyle bireyselliğin içinde oluştuğu ve yaşadığı sosyal şartların iletişimsel önemini göz ardı ettiği şeklindeki eleştiri gelir. Buna göre, toplum sözleşmeci rasyonel egoistlerden yararcı modern neo-klasik iktisatçılara, liberal siyasi iktisat rasyonel çıkar arayışının örgütlenme sorununu ön plana çıkarırken “rasyonel birey”in hangi toplumsal şartlarda ortaya çıktığı sorununu ihmal etmektedir. Political Studies’in son sayılarında örneklerine rastladığımız bu eleştirel görüşün önde gelen savunucularından biri, “müzakereci demokrasi” teorisiyle, Habermas’tır
