Design of Cement Grinding Circuit and Selection of Multi-Compartment Ball Mill with the Aid of Modelling and Simulation

Abstract

In this paper, based on the modelling of Bond ball mill grindability test, a scale up approach which
can be used for selection of multi-compartment ball mills and cement grinding circuit design is used.
The success of the approach was evaluated by the data taken from eight different operating cement
grinding circuits. The flow rates and size distributions of the streams in the circuits were successfully
predicted by this method

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, çimento öğütmede kullanılan kamaralı bilyalı değirmenlerin seçimi ve devre tasarımı
için, Bond bilyalı değirmen öğütülebilirlik testinin modellenmesine dayanan modelleme destekli bir
ölçek büyütme yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Yaklaşımın başarısı, halen üretim yapmakta olan sekiz farklı
çimento öğütme devresinden alınan verilerle değerlendirilmiştir. Bu yaklaşımla, öğütme devrelerindeki
malzeme, tüm akışlardaki tonaj ve tane boyu dağılımları başarılı bir şekilde tahmin edilmiştir
