Concentration of Kyanite Ore From Bayramalan (Bitlis) Region

Abstract

In this study, the upgrading studies of Bayramalan (Bitlis) kyanites were carried out using shaking table
and flotation methods. First, the ore characteristics of the kyanite were determined and then the effects
of operating parameters of shaking table such as tilt angle, stroke and speed on the separation were
investigated for -0.3+0.1 mm size fraction. Shaking table tests were also applied to -0.5+0.3, -0.3+0.2
and -0.2+0.1 mm size fractions at the best operating conditions obtained for -0.3+0.1 mm size fraction.
The minus 0.1 mm size fraction was processed only by flotation. The concentrates obtained at best
conditions contain Al 2 03 higher than 54% and the recovery of Al 2 03 is higher than 70%.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Bitlis Bayramalan distenlerinin sarsıntılı masa ve flotasyon ile zenginleştirilebilirlik
çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Öncelikle karakterizasyon çalışması yapılmış ve -0,3+0,1 mm tane aralığındaki
cevherin sarsıntılı masa ile zenginleştirilmesinde masa eğimi, genlik ve hız parametrelerinin ayırıma
etkisi incelenmiştir. Elde edilen en iyi koşullar -0,5+0,3, -0,3+0,2, -0,2+0,1 mm tane aralıklarında
sınıflandırılan örneklere de uygulanmıştır. 0,1 mm tane boyutunun altındaki örnek ise sadece flotasyon
yöntemi ile zenginleştirilmiştir. En iyi koşullarda elde edilen konsantreler > %54 Al 2 03
tenörü ve > %70
verimlere sahiptir.
