Abstract

Bu çalışmada, KBİ Samsun İzabe Tesisleri cüruf zenginleştirme tesisi öğütme devresinde yürütülen
modelleme ve simülasyon çalışmaları sunulmaktadır. Öğütme ve flotasyon devresinde örnekleme
çalışmaları yürütülmüş, tüm örneklerin tane boyut dağılımları ve katı içerikleri, flotasyon devresinden
alınan örneklerin bakır içerikleri belirlenmiştir. Madde denkliği hesaplamaları sonunda akışların katı ve
su tonajları hesaplandıktan sonra, öğütme devresinde bulunan otojen ve çakıllı değirmen, elek ve
hidrosiklonların matematiksel modelleri oluşturulmuştur. Oluşturulan modeller devre performansını
başarıyla tahmin etmiştir. Daha sonra, cürufun soğutma süresinin öğütme devresi performansı
üzerinde etkisi simülasyon yoluyla incelenmiştir. Şok soğutulan cürufla daha ince flotasyon beslemesi
elde edilirken, diğer numuneler benzer tane boyut dağılımı vermektedir

Modelling and Simulation of the Slag Grinding Circuit at KBİ Samsun Copper Smelter

Abstract

In this study, modelling and simulation studies performed in the grinding circuit of slag concentration
plant at KBİ Samsun Smelter are presented. An elaborate sampling survey was performed in grinding
and flotation circuits and size distributions and solid contents of the all samples and copper content of
the samples taken from flotation circuits were determined. After calculation of solid and water flow rates
by mass balancing, models for the autogenous and pebble mills, screen and hydocyclones were
developed. Models predicted the circuit performance successfully. Then, the effect of cooling duration
of slag on the performance of the grinding circuit was investigated by simulation. Shock cooled slags
gave finer flotation feed while the other samples provided similar size distributions.
