Thermal Desorption of the Adsorbed Xanthate and Re-adsorption of Desorbed Xanthate Ions on Pyrite

Abstract

The objective of this study was to investigate the thermal desorption of xanthate ions from pyrite surface and re^adsorption of desorbed xanthate ions on pyrite. It was found that the desorption of xhanthate increased with increasing thermal decomposition, and thermal desorption rate also increased with increasing Na2S concentration. The results showed that the thermally desorbed xanthate ions can be re-adsorbed on the surface of pyrite

Abstract

Bu çalışmada pirit yüzeyine adsorplanmış ksantatın desorpsiyonu ve desorpianan ksantat iyonlarının pirit yüzeyine tekrar adsorpsiyonu araştırılmıştır. Ksantat iyonlarının desorpsiyonunda, sıcaklık artışı ile desorpianan madde miktarının arttığı ve termal desorpsiyonda Na2S derişiminin artmasıyla desorpianan madde miktarının daha da artırdığı belirlenmiştir. Sonuçlar, ısısal işlemle ve Na2S kullanılarak desorpianan ksantatın pirit yüzeyine tekrar adsorbe olacağım göstermiştir
