Abstract

Yeraltı ve açık işletme projelerinin hazırlanmasında gereken en önemli verilerden biride cevher ve yankayaçların kütle ve malzeme özellikleri olmaktadır. Bu çalışma kapsamında; Sivas Ulaş sölestit açık ocağında karşılaşılan kaya birimlerinin bazı kütle ve malzeme özellikleri arazi ve laboratuvar çalışmaları ile belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca, literatür sınıflama sistemleri gözönüne alınarak, kaya birimlerinin sağlamlık ve kazı zorluğu sınıflamaları yapılmıştır

Determination and Evaluation of Some Rock Material/Mass Properties of Celestite Ore and Overburden in Sivas-Ulaş Region

Abstract

One of the most important data required during the preparation of underground and surface mining projects is the mass and material properties of ore and surrounding:rocks. Within the scope of this study, some mass and material properties of the rock units encountered in Sivas Ulaş celestite open-pit mine have been determined by field and laboratory studies. In addition, strength and digging difficulty classifications of these rock units have been made by regarding the classification systems found in the literature
