Abstract
One of the most important aspects of marble quarrying is the availability of certain sized blocks separated by geological discontinuities together with the colour, homogenity and physical properties of marble. The importance of the size of blocks comes from industrial demand. The method introduced in this paper, produces the block recovery and the number of blocks within the geologically disturbed area by a new developed computer program
Abstract
Mermer üretiminde oldukça büyük öneme sahip olan parametrelerin başında renk. homojenite, fiziksel ve kimyasal özellikler yanında, ayrışma yüzeylerini meydana getiren süreksizlikler gelir. Bunların önemi, levha halinde ekonomik değere sahip olan mermerlerin, belirli boyutlarda blok halinde üretilebilmesi zorunluluğudur. Bu yazıda tanıtımı yapılan yöntem ile, süreksizlik düzlemlerinin yoğun olduğu bölgelerde mermer blok verimi, üretilebilir blok sayısı, bir bilgisayar programı ile saptanmış ve sonuçlar irdelenmiştir
