Abstract
Iron and steel industries has been benefiting from the growing technology. The use of the latest technologies in the modernization of sinter and pellet plants made the production of better quality raw materials for blast furnaces possible. Hence, the efficiency of blast furnaces has increased. In this paper, the pelletizing of iron ores is described, iron ore pelletizing processes and the tests used in the determination of the quality of pellets are explained
Abstract
Dünyada gelişen teknoloji içinde demir-çelik endüstrisi de yerini almıştır. En yeni teknolojilerin kullanılması, sinter ve pelet tesislerinin modernize edilmeleri, yüksek fırınlara daha kaliteli hammadde sağlamış ve böylece yüksek fırınların verimliliği de artmıştır. Yazıda demir cevherinin peletlenmesinden bahsedilmiş, değişik peletleme yöntemleri ve peletleme ile ilgili deneyler açıklanmıştır
