Abstract

Galeri açma makinalan, kazılacak formasyonların özelliklerine
göre seçilmez ise kazı ekonomik olmaktan uzaklaşabilir. Bu amaçla
pahalı ve karmaşık laboratuvar deneylerinin yanında basit test yöntemleri
de geliştirilmiştir. Bu yöntemler kayaçların kasılabilirliklerine
etkiyen dayanım, kırılganlık, aşındırıcılık ve süreksizlik özelliklerini irdelemek
üzere tasarlanmışlardır. Bu yazıda kazılabilirlik test yöntemleri,
dayandırıldıkları kayaç özellikleri açısından sınıflandırılmış
ve çok özel laboratuvar koşulları gerektirmeyen, arazide kolayca uygulanabilenler
hakkında ayrıntılı bilgi verilmiştir.

Abstract

The excavation may become uneconomic, if the tunnel boring
machines are not selected or designed proparly regarding rock
formations. For this purpose besides expensive and complicated
laboratory test procedures, simple test methods are also improved.
These tests are based on the rock properties such as strength, brittleness,
abrasivity and discontinuity which affect the tunnel boreability.
In this paper, the machinability tests are classified according
to rock properties and detailed information is given about the methods
which do not require special laboratory conditions which can
easily be applied at the field.
