  • Manuscripts that do not comply with the journal’s style guidelines will be returned without being considered for the review process and will not be reconsidered. Articles that fall outside the scope of the journal will be rejected at the preliminary review stage.
  • Starting with the October 2026 issue, our journal has decided to publish all Turkish articles with an English Extended Abstract of 750–1000 words. (For detailed information, please refer to the journal's writing rules.)
  • The Journal of Nationalism Studies (JNS), an international peer-reviewed journal, aims to provide original contributions to the thought of nationalism in national and international literature within the framework of academic and scientific criteria.
  • In this context, the journal focuses on this phenomenon—particularly theories of nationalism, the historical development of nationalism and new trends in nationalism studies— in fields such as Cultural Studies, Anthropology, History of Ideas, Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, Political History, and Contemporary and Modern History, which engage in interdisciplinary dialogue with this phenomenon. (A detailed list can be found in the ‘Scope’ section.)
  • Publication Frequency: The journal is published twice a year (in April and October), both online and in print.
  • Open Access: Our journal, which aims to enhance both the quality and quantity of research on nationalism, has adopted a policy of free and open access. All published articles are available free of charge and without restriction, with the aim of disseminating scientific knowledge.
  • Fee Policy: No fees of any kind are charged to authors at any stage of the submission, review or publication of articles.
