Sığır işletmelerinde birden fazla kullanılan enjektör iğnelerinde mikrobiyal kontaminasyonun belirlenmesi

Abstract

Tüm dünyada insan ve hayvanlarda en sık yapılan
medikal uygulamalardan belki de en önemlisi enjeksiyondur. Enjektör iğnelerinin
birden fazla kullanılması, enjektör veya iğneleri aracılığıyla deride bulunan
mikroorganizmaların derin dokulara ulaşmasına, apselere ve kanla bulaşan
hastalıkların yayılmasına yol açmaktadır. Bu çalışmada Burdur ilinde rastgele
örnekleme ile 40 sığır işletmesine gidilerek, işletme sahipleri ile
kullandıkları enjektör tipleri, kaç kez kullandıkları, saklama koşulları, apse
görüp görmedikleri gibi soruları kapsayan bir anket yapıldı. İşletmelerde kullanılmakta
olan enjektör iğnelerinin muhafaza edildiği yerler fotoğraflandı. Mikroorganizmaların
izolasyonu amacıyla %7 defibrine koyun kanı ilave edilmiş kanlı agar, MacConkey
agar ve Müller Hinton agara ekimler yapıldı. İşletmelerin 11(%27.5)’inde tek
kullanımlık enjektörlerin bir kez, 29(%72.5)’unda en az 2 defa veya daha fazla
kullanıldığı, 6 işletmede ise otomatik enjektörlerin de kullanıldığı, enjektörlerin
çoğunlukla işletme içinde ve muhtelif yerlerde saklandığı belirlendi. İşletmelerin
30(%75)’unda düzenli olarak enjeksiyon yapıldığı, enjeksiyon öncesi
dezenfeksiyonun yapılmadığı ve bu işletmelerin 12’sinde enjeksiyon sonrası apse
görüldüğü bildirildi. İncelenen örneklerin 44’ünden apseye ve septisemiye yol
açabilen mikroorganizmalar yanısıra kontaminant mikroorganizmalar izole edildi.



Sonuç olarak, bu çalışma ile sığır
işletmelerinde tek kullanımlık enjektör iğnelerinin birden fazla kullanıldığı,
enjeksiyon öncesi dezenfeksiyon yapılmadığı, enjektör iğnelerinden enfeksiyonlara
yol açabilecek patojen ve kontaminant mikroorganizmaların izole edilebileceği
belirlendi.
