Abstract
Academician Hamid Arasli is known as a great historian of literature and at the same time as a specialist in folklore. The epos of «Kitabi-Dede Korgut» takes the great place in the creative work of H. Araslı. H. Araslı included the epos «Kitabi-Dede Korgut» to the manuals and investigated the connections of folklore and classical heritance. He also investigated the distortions and deficiencies and made the text perfect and published it. The articles of H. Arasli about the epos «Kitabi-Dede Korgut» take the main place in the Azerbaijan literature.
