A Profile Glance at the Belief and the Sacrifice World in Cyprus on the Base of the Women

Abstract

The island named Cyprus is always accepted to be the island of the immigrants and that of the problems through the history. Subsequent to the Ottoman conquer of the island, these above-mentioned two points have continued up to day increasingly and it seems to continue from now on. On the other hand, the facı that the diversity of the communities on the island as well as the Turkish Cypriot  society takes the island to a unique point due to the cultura/ richness of the island. In addition to the beliefs and the sacrifice traditions of the Turkish Cypriots interwoven with A natolia and Turkish society in the main land, they have very close relations and interactions with the Greek Cypriots and with the other communities on the island. Those people who have lived together so far and their traditions on the beliefs have very common similarities. Despite the facı that this scientific research aims to focus on the Turkish Cypriots and their belief world, it also aims to reflect somethingfromfirstly the Greek Cypriots ' beliefs and the traditions as well.

Kıbrıs Adasında Kadın Eksenli Olarak Adak Ve İnanç Dünyasına Kesitsel Bir Bakış

Abstract

Kıbrıs adası her zaman göçler ve sorunlar adası olarak kabul edilir. Adanın Osmanlı tarafından fethedilmesinden itibaren geçen süreçte her iki olgu günümüze kadar ve şiddetlenerek devam etmiş ve bundan sonra da devam edecek gibi görünmektedir. Öte yandan adada Türkler yanında Rumlar gibi farklı etnik kökenden toplumların da yaşıyor olması adayı kültürel zenginlik anlamında da farklı bir yere koymaktadır. Kaçınılmaz olarak kökeni Anadolu ve Türkiye'ye dayanan Kıbrıs Türklerinin Anadolu eksenli inançları yanında başta Rumlar olmak üzere adadaki diğer topluluklarla etkileşim içinde olmaları da söz konusudur. Yıllar boyu iç içe yaşamış bu insanların inanç dünyalarında da özellikle adak bağlamında pek çok benzerlikler bulunmaktadır. Bu araştırma her ne kadar Kıbrıs Türklerinin inanç zenginliklerini ve etkileşimlerini ortaya koymayı amaçlasa da doğaldır ki özellikle Kıbrıs Rumlarının yaklaşımları da mercek altına alınacaktır.
