The histochemical characters on the mucous cells in some fins on the tench of the tench (Tinca tinca L. 1758)

Year 2010, Volume: 1 Issue: 2, 97 - 110, 01.12.2010

Abstract

In the present study was aimed to determine the histochemical characters of mocous cells in some fins (pelvic, dorsal, pectoral and anal fins) of the Tench (Tinca tinca L. 1758). Periodic acid Schiff (PAS) as a result of the application according to other pectoral fins in a greater number of fin PAS (+) cells containing mucus were determined. Anal fin containing acidic glukokonjugat mucus cells were found to react more strongly than the other fin. Different pH of Alcian Blue (AB) anal fin were found to react strongly than other fins mucous cells. Aldehyde fuchsin (AF) following application of the mucus cells in the pelvic and anal fins in the strong reaction observed although dorsal and pectoral fins in the reactions were determined to be less violent.
