YÜKSEK TEKNOLOJİLİ ÜRÜN İHRACATI VE EKONOMİK BÜYÜME İLİŞKİSİ: TÜRKİYE ÖRNEĞİ

Abstract

Küreselleşen
dünya ekonomisinde uluslararası ticaret hacminin giderek yükselmesi dikkate
alındığında, teknolojik gelişmenin ülkelerin uluslararası ticaretlerinde ve
ekonomik büyümelerinde önemli derecede etkiye sahip olacağı öngörülmektedir. Bu
doğrultuda, ülkelerin teknolojik gelişmelerinin teknolojik ürün ihracatına olan
etkisini ve hangi sektörlerdeki teknolojik ürün ihracatının ülkelerin ekonomik
büyümelerine daha etkin şekilde katkı sağlayacağını ortaya koyacak çalışmalar
önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışma ile Türkiye’de sektörel olarak yüksek
teknolojili ürün ticareti ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişki
araştırılacaktır. Bununla birlikte çalışmanın ana hedefi, Türkiye’nin hangi
sektörlerdeki teknolojik ürün ticaretinin ekonomik büyümeye daha fazla katkı
sağladığının tespit edilmesidir. Böylelikle, Türkiye’de ekonomik büyümeye en
çok katkı sağlayan yüksek teknoloji sektörleri belirlenecektir. Çalışma
kapsamında gerçekleştirilen analizler sonucunda, Türkiye’nin yüksek teknoloji
sektörlerinden sırasıyla kimya endüstrisi, elektrik makineleri ve aparatları
endüstrisi, silah sanayi, elektronik ve haberleşme endüstrisi ve bilimsel
araçlar endüstrisi ihracatlarında uzmanlaşması durumunda ekonomik büyüme
düzeyinin daha fazla arttığı tespit edilmiştir.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN HIGH TECHNOLOGY EXPORTS AND ECONOMIC GROWTH: CASE of TURKEY

Abstract

Given
the growing international trade volume in the globalizing world economy, it is
foreseen that technological development will have considerable influence in the
international trade and economic growth of countries. In this respect, it is
important to study the impact of technological developments of countries on the
export of technological products and the extent to which the export of
technological products will contribute to the economic growth of the countries.
This study will first tried to put forward the impact on trade of technological
products of technological developments emerged in Turkey. Furthermore, the main
objective of the study is that technological products trade to economic growth
of Turkey is identified which sectors that contribute more. Thus, high
technology sectors that contribute most to economic growth in Turkey will be
determined andin order to raise the welfare level of Turkey more quickly in the
detected sectors specializing aims to increase the technological products
trade. According to results of analyzes, specialization of exports of chemical
industry, electrical machinery and apparatus industry, armament industry,
electronics and communications industry and scientific instruments industry as high-tech
sectors have been determined that further increased the level of economic
growth in Turkey.
