Ameliyathane Cerrahi Ekibinin Teknik Olmayan Becerilere İlişkin Tutumlarının Belirlenmesi - Determinatoin of Operating Room Surgical Team Attitudes Related To Non-Technical Skills

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Ankara’da bir eğitim-araştırma hastanesi ameliyathanesinde faaliyette bulunan cerrahi ekibin (cerrah, anestezist, hemşire) görevleri sırasında teknik olmayan becerilerine yönelik tutumlarını belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma evreni 315 cerrahi ekipten oluşmaktadır. Araştırmada örneklem seçilmeyip araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 145 kişi ile çalışma tamamlanmıştır. Araştırma tanımlayıcı ve uygulama niteliğinde bir çalışmadır. Veriler, Ameliyathane Yönetimi Tutum Ölçeği kullanılarak elde edilmiştir. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans ve yüzde hesaplamaları gibi istatistiksel teknikler kullanılmıştır.

Araştırmada liderliğe ilişkin tutumlar, genelde hiyerarşik özellikler göstermiştir. Araştırmada olay raporlamayla ilgili çalışanların desteklenmediği görülmüştür. Stres ve tükenmişlik gibi kişisel faktörlerin güvenlik üzerindeki etkisinin yeteri düzeyde kavranmadığı, ortaya çıkan tıbbi hataları çözme düzeyinin düşük olduğu bulunmuştur. Ekip çalışması, cerrahlar tarafından daha fazla desteklemektedir fakat operasyon öncesi bilgilendirmelerin cerrahlarca daha az dikkate alındığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma bulguları doğrultusunda, hasta güvenliğine katkı sağlamak amacıyla cerrahi ekibin benzer amaçlar doğrultusunda benzer eğitim programlarına tabi tutulmaları önerilmektedir. Hata raporlama sistemi yönetimce desteklenmeli ve meslekler arası işbirliği kalitesine önem verilmelidir.
