On Behalf of Global Perspective, Medical Tourism Management in Turkey

Abstract

We are witnessing that knowledge, technology and capital is moving at a dizzying speed of society can adapt to this new era and bring significant opportunities for economies. One of these opportunities is the phenomenon of medical tourism. In some countries, especially to the high costs of treatment and the length of time people wait for treatment can take both high quality and can visit both attractions countries has led to evaluation. In accordance with scientific research, medical tourism market in the world in the coming years is expected to grow by 25-35%. However, Turkey is not only providing health services to one million foreign patients , 23.3 million of the total revenue obtained from traditional tourism , health tourism will find the chance to get . In this way, the treatment of many patients, a combination of vacation and transport services are able to choose where they can find health packs.

Abstract

Dünya üzerinde bilgi, teknoloji ve sermayenin baş döndürücü bir hızla hareket ediyor olması, bu yeni döneme uyum sağlayabilen ekonomi ve toplumlar için önemli fırsatları da beraberinde getirdiğine şahit oluyoruz. Bu fırsatlardan bir tanesi de medikal turizm olgusudur. Özellikle bazı ülkelerde tedavi masraflarının yüksek olması ve bekleme zamanlarının uzunluğu insanları hem kaliteli hem tedavi alabilecekleri hem de turistik ziyarette bulunabilecekleri ülkeler araştırmaya yöneltmiştir. Bilimsel araştırmalar doğrultusunda, dünya genelinde medikal turizm pazarında önümüzdeki yıllarda % 25-35 oranında büyüme gerçekleşmesi beklenmektedir. Bununla birlikte, Türkiye sadece 1 milyon yabancı hastaya sağlık hizmeti sağlayarak, 23,3 milyon geleneksel turistten elde ettiği toplam geliri, sağlık turizminden elde etme şansını bulabilecektir. Bu sayede pek çok hasta tedavi, tatil ve ulaşım hizmetini bir arada bulabilecekleri sağlık paketlerini tercih edebilmektedir.
