Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of workaholism and work-family conflict levels on the life satisfaction of administrative staff working at universities. The research sample consists of individuals working as administrative personnel at universities in Ankara. A total of 466 people, 264 from public universities and 202 from foundation universities, participated in the research. A survey was used as a data collection technique. “Simple random sampling method” was used when determining the sample group. The data collected in the study was analyzed using the relational survey pattern, one of the quantitative research methods. Data analyses were performed using the SPSS program. Research data exhibit normal distribution. “Linear correlation” was used to determine the relationship between variables, and “multiple regression analyses” were used to determine the effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. According to the results of the research, it is seen that life satisfaction has a negative relationship with both the level of workaholism and work-family conflict. Another result is that while work-family conflict negatively affects life satisfaction, the increase in workaholism level has no effect on life satisfaction.

İşkoliklik ve İş - Aile Çatışması Yaşam Tatminini Etkiler Mi? Üniversite İdari Personeli Üzerinde Bir Araştırma

Year 2024, , 610 - 623, 31.10.2024
https://doi.org/10.33712/mana.1486457
