Abstract
SMEs; production, investment, employment, export, value added, income / tax, etc. realized in the country. has a great importance in terms of elements. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between the level of using financial management techniques and the financial problems faced by SMEs operating in AOSB. In this context, SMEs' application profile of financial management techniques and these enterprises' utilisation extent from the incentives are determined and solutions for the identified problems are presented. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 106 SMEs located in AOSB. The questionnaire consists of two basic parts and 20 questions. In some of the questions, a Likert scale of 5 was used. Within the scope of the study, all data obtained through the questionnaire were evaluated with the SPSS 22.0 program. In the research, demographic questions and descriptive statistics related to the financial management techniques applied by the firms, and frequency and percentage values are given. It has been experienced that the participating enterprises have lack of knowledge and experience on alternative financial resources and ways of accessing them. It has also been determined that enterprises lack knowledge and specialist in financial management.
