Dış Ticaret Çalışanlarının İçsel Motivasyonlarının İşletmelerin Lojistik Performansına Etkisi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, dış ticaret alanında faaliyet gösteren işletmelerde çalışanların içsel motivasyonlarının lojistik performansı üzerindeki etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Çalışmada lojistik performans; gümrük süreçleri, altyapı yeterliliği, hizmet kalitesi, zamanlama, uluslararası sevkiyat yönetimi ve takip-izleme mekanizmaları olmak üzere altı boyutta ele alınmıştır. Araştırma kapsamında ilgili departman çalışanlarından elde edilen veriler Smart PLS 4 programında analiz edilerek içsel motivasyonun bu boyutların her birine olan katkısı yorumlanmıştır. Bulgular, yüksek düzeyde içsel motivasyona sahip çalışanların gümrük işlemlerinde hız ve doğruluk sağladığını, mevcut altyapıyı daha etkin kullandığını, hizmet kalitesini yükselttiğini, teslimat sürelerine uyumu artırdığını, uluslararası sevkiyatlarda koordinasyonu güçlendirdiğini ve takip-izleme süreçlerinde şeffaf bilgi akışı üzerinde etkisi olduğunu göstermektedir. Elde edilen bu sonuçlar lojistik performansın yalnızca teknolojik altyapı ve dışsal kaynaklarla değil aynı zamanda insan kaynağının psikolojik ve davranışsal yönleriyle de şekillendiğini ortaya çıkartmıştır. Araştırma, lojistik sektöründe rekabet gücünü artırmak isteyen işletmelerin teknik ve süreç odaklı yatırımların yanı sıra çalışanların içsel motivasyonunu güçlendirecek stratejilere de öncelik vermesi gerektiğini vurgulamaktadır.

The Impact of Employee Intrinsic Motivation on the Logistics Performance of Foreign Trade Businesses

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the impact of employee intrinsic on logistics performance among businesses operating in foreign trade. Logistics performance is examined in six dimensions: customs processes, infrastructure adequacy, service quality, timelines, international shipment management, and track-and-trace mechanisms. Data obtained from employees in relevant departments were analyzed using Smart PLS 4, and the contribution of intrinsic motivation to each of these dimensions was interpreted. The findings indicate that employees with high levels of intrinsic motivation ensure speed and accuracy in customs procedures, utilize existing infrastructure more effectively, improve service quality, increase adherence to delivery schedules, strengthen coordination in international shipments, and promote transparent information flow in track-and-trace processes. These results reveal that logistics performance is shaped not only by technological infrastructure and external resources, but also by the psychological and behavioral aspects of human resources. The research emphasizes that businesses seeking to increase their competitiveness in the logistics sector should prioritize strategies that strengthen the intrinsic motivation of their employees, in addition to technical and process-oriented investments.
