Alkaloids from Mushrooms

Year 2018, Volume: 9 Issue: 2, 117 - 125, 25.10.2018

Abstract

Mushrooms (macrofungi) are
a part of the human diet as a source of both food and medicine for centuries
especially in East-Asia. The use of mushrooms and their extracts for medicinal
purposes became more popular due to increasing number of research conducting on
them recently. They predominantly contain polysaccharides, terpenes and
sterols. Alkaloids exhibits bioactive effects even in very small doses and
mainly distributed in Angiosperms. Their occurrences in macrofungi is very
limited and not very-well documented as much as other constituents like
polysaccharides or terpenes. In this review, we focused on distribution and
bioactivities of mushroom alkaloids

Mantarlardan Elde Edilen Alkaloitler

Year 2018, Volume: 9 Issue: 2, 117 - 125, 25.10.2018

Abstract

The works submitted to our journals are first judged grammatically. After this phase, articles are sent two reviewers. If necessary, the third reviewer is assessed. In the publication of works, a decision is made by evaluating the level of contribution to science and readers within the criteria specified in the writing rules. Reviewers are requested to submit their assessments within 30 days at the latest. The reviewers' evaluations and the answers to these evaluations are reviewed by the editor and it is decided whether the work will be published or not.
