The Comparative History of Women’s Art Education in Turkey and Europe
Abstract
This study has been carried out in order to display a short summary of the development of women during the art education in spite of all difficulties from Renaissance to now. The subject, handled within the history of art education frame can help to reveal various discriminatory applications for women in both Europe and our country in the past and to find out the answers why today’s women still meet with some obstacles.
