Marmara University Atatürk Education Faculty Journal of Educational Sciences

The Journal of Educational Sciences of Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education is a peer-reviewed journal indexed in international databases in the field of educational sciences. As one of the most established journals in the field, it has been continuously published since 1989 and strives to contribute to high-quality scientific studies capable of analyzing and solving educational problems through the lens of science.
Our journal publishes original articles conducted with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed methods in the fields of educational sciences and teacher education. Manuscripts that comply with the writing and formatting guidelines are subjected to plagiarism screening (similarity index < 10%). Studies derived from postgraduate theses with similarity rates between 20–25%, where the similarity is predominantly found in the findings section, are taken into consideration for evaluation. The journal publishes articles in both English and Turkish.
For manuscripts not rejected at the preliminary stage, a double-blind peer review process is applied; each article is sent to two reviewers. Compliance with our submission guidelines, inclusion of ORCID numbers, submission of the Copyright Transfer Form, and for research articles, uploading of the ethics committee approval are mandatory during the submission process.
Our journal is an open-access publication available free of charge to everyone and is published both electronically and in print. No fees are charged to authors.

Each article published in our journal is assigned a DOI number.
