TÜRKİYE’DE HANEHALKI TASARRUF DAVRANIŞLARININ BELİRLEYİCİLERİ

Abstract

Hanehalkı tasarrufları
bir ülke ekonomisi için hem yatırım finansman kaynağı hem de makroekonomik
istikrarın sağlanmasında önemli bir araç olarak kullanılmaktadır. Bu nedenle
hanehalkı tasarruf birikimindeki artış önem arz etmekte, bireylerin tasarruf
eğilimini etkileyen faktörlerin tespiti ise bu çalışmanın ana amacını
oluşturmaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada, Türkiye İstatistik Kurumu, Kalkınma
Bakanlığı ve Dünya Bankası’ndan elde edilen veriler ile Türkiye’de hanehalkı
tasarruf davranışlarının belirleyicileri (1996-2017) incelenmiştir. Kişi başı
GSYH, enflasyon oranı, para arzı ve genç bağımlılık oranı modelde yer alan
değişkenlerdir. Çalışmanın ekonometrik analiz kısmında ise En Küçük
Kareler(EKK) yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonucunda kişi başına düşen
GSYH ve enflasyon oranlarının tasarruf oranları üzerine anlamlı ve olumlu, para
arzı ve genç bağımlılık oranlarının ise tasarruf oranları üzerine anlamlı ve
olumsuz etkilerinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bulgular incelendiğinde değişkenlerin
tamamının tasarruf oranları üzerine ilişkisi, literatürde yer alan çalışmalarla
benzerlik göstermektedir.
