Born in Tortum, Erzurum in 1986, he completed his Hifz (memorization of the Quran) in Çağlayan, Istanbul in 1999. He graduated from Kartal Mehmet Akif Ersoy Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in 2005 and earned his Bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Theology at Marmara University in 2009. In the same year, he began his Master's studies in the Department of Islamic Law at Marmara University's Institute of Social Sciences, completing his degree in 2012 with a thesis titled "Sale of Debt for Debt in Islamic Law" (İslam Hukuku’nda Deyn’in Deyn Karşılığında Satımı).
In March 2013, he was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Department of Arabic Language and Rhetoric at Marmara University’s Faculty of Theology. Having commenced his doctoral studies in the same department in 2012, he obtained his Ph.D. in 2019 with his dissertation titled "Linguistic Analysis of the General-Particular (Umum-Husûs) Problem: The Case of al-Qarāfī" (Umûm-Husûs Meselesinin Dil Açısından İncelenmesi: Karâfî Örneği). He has taught courses in Morphology (Sarf), Syntax (Nahw), Rhetoric (Balāghah), Logic (Mantiq), Semantics/Theory of Designation (Wadʿ), Dialectics/Disputation (Munāẓarah), and Legal Theory (Uṣūl al-Fiqh) at various academic and research institutions. His current research primarily focuses on the intersections of linguistics, logic, and legal theory (Uṣūl al-Fiqh).
