“Aqsâmu’l-Qur’an” is defined as the Oaths used in the Qur’an. Many verses in the Qur’an are known to be on oath in various creatures. Either the scholars Qur’an translators or the scholars who published particular work on this topic discuss different aspects of these oaths. This article focuses on the understanding of the Oath statements frequently used in the Qur’an (Aqsâmu’lQur’an) and the sort of sensitivities that should be taken into consideration while translating them into our language. Besides investigating the topic in interpretation literature, an application trial is done with the verses (89/1-14) of the Sûrat al-Fajr.
Öz: “Aksâmu’l-Kur’ân” terkibi, Kur’ân’da kullanılan yeminler anlamına gelmektedir. Kur’ân-ı
Kerim’in birçok âyetinde değişik varlıklara yemin edildiği bilinmektedir. Gerek tefsir bilginleri gerekse
bu konuya dair müstakil eser te’lif etmiş olan âlimler, bu yeminleri değişik yönleri ile ele
almışlardır. Bu makalede, Kur’ân-ı Kerim’de sıklıkla kullanılmış olan yemin ifadelerinin (Aksâmu’l-
Kur’ân) anlaşılması ve bu ifadelerin dilimize tercüme edilmesi esnasında hangi kaidelerin göz önüne
alınması gerektiği üzerinde durulmuş, konunun tefsir literatürü üzerinden incelenmesinin yanı sıra,
89/Fecr, 1-14 âyetlerinin çevirisi örneğinde bir uygulama denemesi yapılmıştır.
