Abstract

An abstract on the Achivements of the last year's students of the Art Department of the Marmara Universty Atatürk Education Fafulty in the Field of Teaching and art. What are the demands and trends of the students of the Art Department of M. Ü. Atatürk Education Faculty? Which qualifıed students does the Art Department -with its today's character- enable to train in terms of artisty and teaching.It aims to train "artist-teacher", to what extent is it able to accomplish this goal? In this research answers to these questions have been sought, and an assessment has been made about the students requirements beginning of their university education and before and after their practice term in their fourth-last-year, by comparing the girls and the boys they respectively. Thus it has become obvious whether they will tend to take on teaching as a job or not.
