HASTANELERDE BİLGİ YÖNETİMİNİN ETKİNLİĞİ NASIL ÖLÇÜLÜR?

Abstract
Bu çalışma, hastanelerde bilgi yönetimi sisteminin etkinliğini test etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Son yıllarda bir çok işletme stratejik ve operasyonel hedeflerine ulaşmak ve performanslarını geliştirmek amacıyla bilgi yönetimi uygulamalarına destekleme çabası içerisindedirler. Ayrıca özel olarak hastaneler de, bilgi yönetimi sürecini operasyonel ve stratejik faaliyetlerine entegre etmektedirler. Dolayısıyla bilgi yönetimi sistemin etkinliğinin ölçülmesi önem taşımaktadır. Bu çerçevede çalışmada, öncelikle bilgi yönetimi ve bilgi yönetimi sistemini oluşturan unsurlar ele alınmıştır, ikinci olarak bilgi yönetimi sisteminin etkinliği 600 yataklı bir Kamu Hastanesinde görevli hekimlere uygulanan anket verileri ışığında değerlendirilmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda elde edilen bulgular, hastanelerin bilgi yönetimi uygulamalarından daha etkin yararlanabilmesi için örgütsel yapı, teknoloji ve kültürün oluşturduğu bilgi yönetiminin alt yapı yeteneklerine önem vermesi gerektiğini göstermektedir.
