Abstract

Kokenlerini
farklı tarihsel miraslardan alan refah devletleri, gelişimsel cizgiler acısından farklılık

gostermişlerdir ve icinden gectikleri tarihsel surec, farklı refah rejimlerinin oluşmasına kaynaklık

etmiştir. Her biri farklı
bir refah kapitalizmi dunyası sunan refah devletleri, barındırdığı
belirgin

farklılıklara rağmen
ceşitli varoluşsal benzerlikler taşımaktadırlar. Bu calışmanın amacı,
refah

devletlerinin
bazı ekonomik ve politik uygulamalar acısından barındırdığı farklılıkların kabulu ile

birlikte
temelde hizmet etmeleri beklenilen bazı
ortak hedefler acısından
bir değerlendirme yapmaktır.

Refah
devletine dair niteleyici bir cerceve oluşturmak
adına calışmada dort farklı ekonomik ve sosyal

durum
analiz edilmiştir. 17 farklı OECD ulke verisi ile dinamik panel
veri analizinin kullanıldığı

calışma sonucları, refah devletinin ekonomik buyume,
genel istihdam, kadın istihdamı ve genel refah 

uzerinde
pozitif etkiye sahip olduğunu gostermiştir.
