Peer-Review Process

Articles can be submitted to the MSAEN by registering in the "Article Management System". Email-submitted articles won't be taken into account.

Pre-Review and Plagiarism Checking

The compliance of the article with the spelling rules of the journal is examined and similarity checks are made to prevent plagiarism. Using the similarity software, the article is checked for similarities. Without a bibliography, the overall similarity rate should be under 30%, and the similarity from a single source should be no more than 3%. The study is either rejected or referred back to the author for revision if the similarity rate is greater than 30%. The preliminary assessment is finished in no more than 15 days in the event that the work is handed back to the summer for the similarity report.

Editor Review

After the study passes the stages of pre-review and similarity checking, it is reviewed by the relevant editor in terms of subject, scope, language use, and academic competence. This review is completed within a maximum of 5 days. If there is a "Major Revision" condition in the referee reports, they send the article back to the relevant referee after the author edits it. If there is an "Acceptance" or "Minor Revision" requirement and the revisions are completed, they can submit the article for language checks (The checking process is completed within a maximum of 5 days.). If they detect that the corrections have not been made, they re-send the article to the author. They may reject the article if the author does not make the corrections again. Articles that are not accepted for publication are not deleted from the system. Their processes and files are stored in the system.

Peer Review Process (Single-Blind Peer Review)

Studies that pass pre-review and editorial review go through a peer review process with a one-sided blind peer-review model. In the one-sided blind refereeing strategy, the referee sees the author's identity. But the authors do not know the identity of the referees. Reports are also stored in the Article Management System.

Author's Revision

The reviewer's comments, critiques, and editorial board recommendations are taken into consideration by the authors. They have the right to appeal with their justifications in the event of any disagreement. Authors edit the article as per the reports and upload the final version of the article to the system.

English Language Checks

Studies that have passed the peer-review process are reviewed by the English Language Editor, and if necessary, corrections are requested from the author. The control process is completed within a maximum of 7 days.

Board of Editors' Review

The articles that pass technical, academic, and linguistic reviews are examined by the Editorial Board, and the final publication status is determined. In the event of a member objection, the Board determines by a majority of votes.

Typesetting and Layout Process

The typesetting and layout processes of the works decided to be published by the Editorial Board are completed. The article is queued for publication.
