WRITING
GUIDE
·
In terms of spelling and
punctuation, spelling guide of the
Turkish Language Institute must be grounded on except studying or the
subject that is obligatory cases.
·
The related editor can make
spell checkings himself that he has seen essential, the related editor can
straighten a summary written in a foreign language if he thinks it’s essential.
·
Scientific works and their
additions (picture, figure, table etc.) must be written in a programme beter
than Microsoft Office of 2007, in Times New Roman, type size 11, in single line
space and the paragraph spacing must be 6 nk before paragraph, 0 nk after
paragraph.
·
The page layout must be
arranged as 4 cm for all of the margins.
·
The texts of summary and
abstract must be written in typefont of Times New Roman type size 9 and single
line space, the space for left and right
must be 1 cm.
·
The summary of studies written
in foreign languages must be Turkish.
·
The use of footnotes must be
avoided as far as possible, the references mustn’t be shown definetely in
footnotes and only for explanations you can refer to footnotes. Autonumber must
be used in footnotes. All of the informations taking part in footnote must be
written in type size 9 and single line space.
·
At the start of article the
summary of Turkish and English consisting of 200-250 words. Turkish key words
of 5 words and English key words of Turkish and English titles must be
included.
·
Turkish main title must be written in big bold letters in type
size 14 and a single line space.
·
English main titrle must be
written in big bold letters, in type size 12 and a single line space.
·
The paragraph indentation mustn’t be made.
·
The abbreviations must be presented in bracketed for the first time in
the text and mustn’t be bracketed in the next uses.
Example
:
·
The numerical datas have been
taken from Turkish Statistica Institute (TUIK). TUIK have revealed this datas
by researching in certain periods.
·
There must be the number and
title of the tables. The table number must be written on top exactly to the
left with upright font. On condition that the first letter of each word must be
capital and in italic form. The tables must be located where they must be in
the text. The numbers and names of figure must be written exactly under the
figure as centered. The number of figure must be in italics and ending with a
dot. Next to the figure number, the number of figure whose first letter must be
capital, must be upright.

The pictures must be given in
the text with high resolution and in a scanned way. In the picture designations
you must obey the rules of figure and charts. Figures, charts and pictures can
be placed in appropriate places in the text provided that they are aesthetic.
·
At the end of the study, the
works being attributed under the bibliography title, must be set according to
the author’s last name, the last name of author and his first letter of name
must be written capitalized. Hanging indent system will be used in the
bibliography. In addition, the headings of articles, papers and book chapters must
be written in inverted commas, the names of the works (journals book, encyclopedia,
thesis etc.) must be written italics.

In the study, APA must be used
as reference system.
·
The direct quatations must be
given in inverted commas.
·
The footnotes in the
study, the bibliography in the
scientific writings must be worked out according to the spelling rules. (Look Spelling
Biblioagraphy)
·
In the works, in which a special typefont is used, the
typefont used must be sent together with the writing.
·
The works must be sent electronically at the
journal’s address, dergipark.org.tr/ mecmua.
·
For the March issue, the works
must be reach to the journal by
electronic format up to 1 February at
the latest. For the September issue, the works must be reach to the journal by electronic format up to 1 August
at the latest.
·
The ranking in the studies
must be organized as follows:

Moran
