Matematiğe İlişkin Tutum Ölçeğinin Kısa Formunun Türkçeye Uyarlama Çalışması

Abstract

Öğrencilerin matematiğe ilişkin tutumları matematiği öğrenme ve öğretme sürecinde oldukça önemli bir role sahiptir. Bu çalışma, Lim ve Chapman (2013) tarafından geliştirilen Matematiğe İlişkin Tutum Ölçeğiinin (Kısa – MİTÖ) Türkçeye uyarlanmış formunun geçerlik ve güvenirliğini ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. Ölçeğin geçerlik ve güvenirlik çalışmaları için kullanılan veriler toplam 306 öğretmen adayından toplanmıştır. Sonrasında ölçeğin Türkçe formuna ait doğrulayıcı faktör analizi, iç tutarlık katsayısı, test – tekrar test güvenirliği ve madde toplam korelasyonlarına ait sonuçlar test edilmiştir. Sonuçlar uyarlanan ölçeğin 5-li likert tipinde ve 15 maddeden oluştuğunu göstermiştir. Ölçme aracı; motivasyon, öz-güven ve matematiğin değeri olmak üzere 3 faktörden oluşmaktadır. Kısa–MİTÖ Türkçe formu ile güvenilir, geçerli, matematiğe ilişkin tutumları etkin bir şekilde ortaya koyabilecek ve uygulama için oldukça kısa bir zaman dilimi gerektiren bir ölçme aracı olarak ortaya konmuştur.
