Sağlık Psikolojik Danışmanlığı Çerçevesinde Meme Kanserli Kadınların Yaşantıları ve Psiko-Sosyal Gereksinimleri

Abstract

Bu
nitel çalışmanın amacı, yeni tanı almış ve tedavi görmekte olan meme kanserli
kadınların meme kanseri ile ilgili yaşantılarını ve psiko-sosyal
gereksinimlerini belirlemektir. Çalışma grubunu, benzeşik örnekleme yöntemiyle
gönüllülük esasına göre belirlenen ve Akdeniz
bölgesindeki iki büyükşehirde tedavileri devam eden 20 meme kanserli
kadın oluşturmaktadır. Veriler, araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilen ve 6
soruyu kapsayan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılarak yüz yüze
görüşme tekniğiyle elde edilmiştir. Araştırma verileri, temel olarak,
örüntüleri belirleme, kodlama ve kategorilere ayırma işlemlerini kapsayan
içerik analizi tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçları, katılımcıların
kanser yaşantıları ve psiko-sosyal gereksinimlerinin tanı ve tedaviye yönelik
tepkiler, başa çıkma stratejileri, koruyucu ve engelleyici etmenler ile
psiko-sosyal kaynaklar ve gereksinimler olmak üzere dört tema doğrultusunda ele
alınabileceğini göstermiştir. Elde edilen bulgular tartışılarak, uygulamalara ve
gelecek çalışmalara yönelik önerilerde bulunulmuştur.
