Abstract

Abstract A Case Report: Anticonvulsant Hypersensitive Syndrome Anticonvulsant hypersensitivity syndrome is a complication of antiepileptic medications. The syndrome is characterized with triad of fever, rash, and symptomatic or asymptomatic internal organ involvement, including primarily hepatitis, nephritis, and lymphadenopathy. In this paper, a severe case of carbamazepine-induced hypersensitivity syndrome was reported.

Abstract

Türkçe Özet: Antikolvülzan hipersensitivite sendromu antiepileptik ilaçların bir komplikasyonudur. Bu sendrom ateş, döküntü ve hepatit, nefrit gibi semptomatik veya asemptomatik iç organ tutulum bulguları ve lenfadenopati triadı ile karakterizedir. Burada şiddetli, karbamazepinle indüklenen hipersensitivite sendromlu bir olgu sunmaktayız.

Our journal, which has been published via e-mail since its inception, has been published both online and in print. Following the Participation Agreement signed with TÜBİTAK-ULAKBİM Dergi Park in April 2015, it has started to accept and evaluate online publications.
